When processing finishes, Kit Maker shows a Summary Page: a vertical, scrollable column of cards, one per item you processed. Every item gets a card, whether it was made into kits or skipped, so you can see what happened without opening a single kit.
The detail on each card depends on the mode.
Maschine Mode Cards #
Maschine cards are simple: one card per Maschine Expansion, showing the Expansion name and that it was processed.
Sample Pack Mode Cards #
Sample Pack cards are much richer. Each processed pack gets a pack card, and the first page shows:
- Pack title.
- Category breakdown bars. How many samples were found in each category, as colored bars. A pack with only kicks, snares, and percussion shows just the red, yellow, and blue bars.
- First-kit layout preview. A colored 4×4 grid showing which categories filled the pads of the first kit made from that pack.
- Kit count. How many kits were made from the pack.
- Messages. Short notes explaining how the pack turned out, for example that loops or large files were filtered out, or that only 3 categories were found.
The bars and the grid use your category colors, so a red bar is a red pad.
Skipped Packs #
If a pack is skipped, its card explains not just that it was skipped but why. For example:
- all of its samples were filtered out for being too large,
- the pack was already processed for that format,
- the pack contained no audio files.
This explained-skip behavior applies in both Maschine and Sample Pack mode (a Maschine card will tell you when an Expansion was skipped because it was already processed, too).
The Three Card Pages #
Each Sample Pack card has 3 navigation dots on its right side. The card opens on the top dot (page 1), the main info described above. Clicking the other two dots reveals two more pages.
Page 2: All Kit Layouts #
Every kit made from the pack, in a scrolling grid. Each kit shows its colored 4×4 pad layout and a numbered list of its 16 sample filenames:
1. Kick.wav
2. Cool snare.wav
...
The list numbers are colored by category to match the pads. This lets you review all of your kits up front, instead of transferring them to your MPC or DAW and finding problems one kit at a time.
Page 3: Filtered Samples #
A breakdown of what was filtered out of that pack:
- how many samples were found in total, how many were usable, and how many were filtered;
- of those filtered, how many were due to large file size vs. keywords.
Keyword filtering catches loop-type content, such as a folder named “Perc Loops” or a file named cool loop.wav. The page also lists the large files and skipped folders or filenames by name, so you can see exactly what was left out.
