This works with samplers that can auto-slice or play 16 equal divisions of a single WAV file.

Kits are written to the “16-Slice WAV Kits” folder, one WAV file per kit, named after the kit.

Preferences: you can set the Max segment length in Preferences.

Every kit is a full 16 equal slices, with silence filling shorter or missing samples, so each slice matches the right pad in your sampler.

There’s also Add silence between slices, which helps samplers that find slice points by listening for transients.
