Kits you get through Splice Beatmaker are saved in a “From Splice” folder, one folder per kit. That’s what Process Kit Folders is for:
- Choose Menu > Extras > Reveal Splice Beatmaker Folder to open the “From Splice” folder.
- Drag it into Kit Maker.
- Process it with Process Kit Folders. Each Beatmaker kit becomes its own labeled kit.
Some Beatmaker kits have fewer than 16 sounds, so those kits will have empty pads.
If Reveal Splice Beatmaker Folder says it can’t find the folder, Splice may have saved it somewhere else. The default locations are:
Mac: Macintosh HD/Users/[your username]/Library/Application Support/Splice/Beatmaker/Presets/From Splice
Win: C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Splice\Beatmaker\Presets\From Splice
