A pack made nothing #
When a pack produces no presets at all, you get one summary at the end of the run naming the pack and the reason: no notes in the filenames, no audio files, or everything was blocked by the Note Filter.
Usually the pack is loops rather than playable notes, or its folders don’t match any of your keywords. The importer says so before you run anything, in the No usable samples drawer.
Reports #
Right-click the Preset Maker logo and turn on Create Reports, or find it in Preferences → Troubleshooting. Every run then writes a pack_report.log beside each set of presets, plus one overview log for the whole batch.
A report shows what came in, how each file was read and why, which samples went into which preset at which key, what was left out, and warnings about things like filename collisions. If a batch produced less than you expected, this is how you find out why.
Still stuck? Send Support Files on the Troubleshooting tab builds one zip with your logs and settings, then opens an email for you to attach it to.
Where are my presets? #
In the Preset Maker Presets folder on your desktop, except Ableton presets, which go into your User Library. Click Reveal Output Folder in the bottom-right of the main window, and change the locations under Preferences → Folder Paths.
