# Samples From Mars

Sample Pack mode also has built-in support for **Samples From Mars** drum packs. When you import one, Kit Maker **auto-detects** it and builds its kits for you, automatically creating the pack's unique kits using their **original kit names**.

Import as many as you like. Several Samples From Mars packs are processed together in one run, and any normal sample packs you imported alongside them are sorted in that same run.

If you'd rather a From Mars pack be treated as an ordinary sample pack, the prompt offers that instead. This works the same way as [Process Kit Folders](/docs/km3-processing-methods/#process-kit-folders), which covers the auto-detection and offers in more detail.
