# Filters

Two filters keep loops and long sounds off your pads. Turn them on or off with the **Large Files** and **Keywords** buttons in the Import panel.

## Filter Large Files

On by default. Files of 2 MB or more are skipped, since long sounds rarely belong in a drum kit. Turn the **Large Files** button off to allow them.

## Filter Keywords

When the **Keywords** button is on, samples whose folder or filename matches the **Filtered Keywords** list are skipped. The default list catches loops, breaks, demos, stems, construction kits and similar non-one-shot content.

Edit the list in the red field at the bottom of the [Edit Categories/Keywords](/docs/km3-categories-keywords-colors/) window.

After processing, the [Summary Page](/docs/km3-summary-page/#page-3-filtered-samples) lists what was filtered from each pack and why.
